RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS AS TO THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSI'l'Y OF THE IMPROVEMENTS AND ACQUISITIONS IN THE EAST SAN RAFAEL DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1, CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of December, 1970, the City
Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California,
adopted its resolution fixing time and place for hearing on the
public convenience and necessity of the improvements and acqui
sitions in the East San Rafael Drainage Assessment District
No. 1, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California� and
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 18th day of January,
1971, at the hour of 8:30 o'clock P.M. of said day at the meet
ing place of the City Council of the City of San Rafael, loca
ted in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 1400 -5th Avenue, San
Rafael, Califo rnia, as the time and place for hearing protests
with relation to the proposed improvements and acquisitions; and
WHEREAS, protest� or objections were filed in writing
by certain persons, firms or corporations who were interested in
certain of the property within the boundaries of said district,
which said protests or objections were delivered to the City Clerk
not later than the hour set for hearing such objections; and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and
objections, said City Council of the City of San Rafael proceeded to
hear the same, and all of the protests or objections of every kind
and nature having been heard and duly considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, that all of said
protests and objections of every kind or nature be, and the same are
hereby, overruled or denied; and
