RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR ONE (1) 1250 PER MINUTE MOTOR DRIVEN PUMPING
ENGINE Bid No. 1 Bid ODeninq Wednesdav, May 26th, 1971 at 2:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City Council
for the furnishing of ONE (1) 1250 PER MINUTE MOTOR DRIVEN PUMPING ENGINE
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of P. E. Van Pelt, Inc.
at the quotation stated in
his bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City with the success-
ful bidder in accordance with the terms, specifications, and general pro-
visions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby rejected
and the City Clerk is directed to return all accompanying certified checks,
cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, MARION GRADY, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the foregoing resolu-
tion was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the City Council held
on the 7th day of
June , 19 71 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen:Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen:None
