RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, GENERAL
PROVISIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS AND DIRECTING
CALL FOR BIDS FOR Furn i sh i nq Roam Materials f rir
Fiscal Year 1971-1972.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of San Rafael, California,
presented to the City Council of said City and 'filed with the City Clerk
thereof plans, specifications, general provisions and instructions to
bidders entitled "Road Materials for Fiscal Year 1971 - 1972"
and
WHEREAS, said City Council has examined and considered said documents
and the same appear to be in all respects correct and proper.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDERED AND RESOLVED, that said plans,
specifications, general provisions, and instructions to bidders be and
the same are hereby approved as the official plans, specifications,
general provisions and instructions to bidders for the furnishing of
materials, services or doing of said work,
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER ORDERED AND RESOLVED, THAT THE City Clerk of
said City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be
published in a manner provided by law a notice inviting sealed proposals
for the furnishing of materials, services, or doing of said work, which
notice shall contain among other things required by law, a statement of the
time and place hereby fixed and appointed for opening, examining and de-
claring said proposals, to -wit:
Thursday, the 8th clay of .1ii1V 1971 at 2:00 o'clock P_M_ at the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday
the 21st day of June , 1971 , by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
