RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF CERTAIN ROAD MATERIALS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1971-72 AS ENUMERATED AND SET FORTH ON THE AGREEMENT ATTACHED HERETO
AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE.
WHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City Council
for the furnishing of Road Materials for the Fiscal Year 1971-72
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of Basalt Rock Company, Inc.
at the quotation stated in
his bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City with the success-
ful bidder in accordance with the terms, specifications, and general pro-
visions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby rejected
and the City Clerk is directed to return all accompanying certified checks,
cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, MARION GRADY, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the foregoing resolu-
tion was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the City Council held
on the 19th day of July , 19 71 -by the following vote:
