RESOLUTION DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT OF CALL FOR BIDS

It is hereby ORDERED and RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, California, that Monday, the 3rd day of
July, 1944, at the hour of 8 o'clock P. M. at the Council Chambers
of said City Council in the City Hall on "A" Street, in said City,
be, and it is hereby Fixed and appointed as the time and place
for opening, examining and declaring sealed bids or proposals
for the work hereinafter mentioned.
It is further ORDERED and RESOLVED that the City Clerk of
said City be and he is hereby authorized and directed forthwith
to cause to be published in the MAFIN JOURHALs a weekly newspaper
of general circulation published in said City, a Notice inviting
sealed proposals for doing the following public work and improvement,
to -wit:
The construction of a sewer system for the Brut Harte
District in said City, in accordance with the specifications,
plans, profiles, construction details and standard details there-
for filed with and approved by said City Council on the 12th day
of June, 1844.
It is further RESOLVED that said Notice shall be in the
form required by law and the Charter of said City and among other
things it shall provide that all bids be accompanied by a cashiers
check in the amount of ton (10) per cent of the bid and that City
Council does reserve the riglt to reject any and all bids.

hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at an adjourned
regular meeting of the Council of said City held on
Monday the 12th day of June, 1944, by the following
vote, to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen: Albert„B p -awn, Culver and Mayor Nook
Noes: Councilmen e. None
Absent: Councilmen: Herup

It is hereby ORDERED and RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, California, that Monday, the 3rd day of
July, 1944, at the hour of 8 o'clock P. M. at the Council Chambers
of said City Council in the City Hall on "A" Street, in said City,
be, and it is hereby fixed and appointed as the time and place
