Regional D reat6r Instructions to Accompany FWA Forms L -118a & L -118b (January 10, 1944) FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY ACCEPTANCE FORMS General Instructions I. The attached forms indicate the type of documents which the Government requires to evidence the Applicant's ac- ceptance of the Government's Offer. The acceptance should conform to such local law as governs the enter- ing into and the execution of agreements generally by the Applicant, andthe procedure respecting such agree- ments under the local law should be observed in accept- ing the Offer. 2. Immediately upon the acceptance of the Government's Offer, please submit to the Regional Director, Federal Works Agency, "Attention: Regional Attorney," three copies of the resolution or other proceeding adopted by the Applicant's governing body accepting the Govern- ment s Offer, duly certified. The Certificate of the Recording Officer must be executed by the clerk, secre- tary, or other officer authorized to authenticate and certify legal documents. 3. Each copy of the acceptance document should have at- tached thereto a copy of the Offer with the applicable terms and conditions made a part of such Offer. 4. Where an approval or permit from another body other than the governing body of the Offeree is necessary to complete the acceptance of the Offer, three certified copies of such approval or permit should be forwarded.
