RFS OLUT ION 'NO. 1005
BE IT &ESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL,, that the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN be;
and they are, hereby„ requested to accept the leadership in all
negotiations and actions looking toward the acquisition of the
title to the land over which existed the right of way of the
Northwestern Pacific Railroad Company, and which is now abandoned,
the saw to be acquired for public Highway purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS be,
and they are, hereby$ requested to take over, handle and finance
the immediate acquisition and ultimate improvement of this right
of quay for Highimy p=posea as a matter of county-wwide importance.
