NO, 638
WHEREAS, Hollis Thompson Eaq. City Manager of the City of Berkeley has
responded to an urgent need of the City of San Rafael and has, out of Municipal
courtesy made possible the aid, assistance and counsel of J. A. Greening, Chief
of Police of the City of Berkeley, for the purpose of making a general survey and
resultant report upon the matter of the proper policing of the City of San Rafael,
all without cost to said City of San Rafael,
NOW TRERE 'ORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael that Hollis Thompson Esq# has rendered a most valuable public service
and Municipal courtesy to the City of San Rafael;
That this Council ought to acknowledge on behalf of said City of San Rafael
the courtesy and helpfulness of Mr. Thompson and to extend to him the gratitude
of said City Council and said City of Sari Rafael.

I, Eugene Wo Smith, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Alonday, the Fifth day of
March 1934, by the following vote, to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen: Bates, Dutton, Vanderlip, Webb and Mayor Nock
Noes: Nonscilmen: None
Absent: Nonacilmen: None
