WHEREAS, Mr. S, A. Greoning, Chief of Police of the City of Berkeley, has
at great inconvenience and Self -Sacrifice made a careful survey and examination of
the Police Department, Police Problems, and Departmental structure of the City of
San Rafael and has made a full detailed report thereon.
WHEREASs, said survey and report reflect years of experience and example and
have been and .will be of very great value to the City of San Rafael, and of great
economic and Municipal value to said City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT H41REBY RESOLVED that this City Council does hereby
extend to Mr, 1. A. Greening the gratitude of said Council and said City of
San Raf eel i
That the City Council does accurately appraise the value of said survey
and report and the Municipal courtesy out of which Mr. Greening has proffered
his splendid service and the assistance of his aides.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be properly engrossed and a
copy hereof forwarded to Mr. Greening over the Seal of this City.

I, Eugene W, Smith, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday the 5th day
of March 1934, by the following vote, to -wit: -
