RESOLUTION OF AWARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San
Rafael did in open session on the fourth day of June, 1934,
publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals
or bids for doing the following work and improvement in said
City, to -wit:
The improvement of a portion of Lincoln Avenue in
said City from Linden Lane to a point 1360 feet northerly
therefrom in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor now on file in the office of the City Engineer of
said City, pursuant to the agreement between said City and
the Department of Public Works of the State of California,
dated December 23, 1933, approved January 2nd, 1934, and
marked filed in the office -of the Clerk of said City on the
6th day of January, 1934,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that said
City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
except that herein next mentioned and hereby awards the
contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest
responsible bidder, to -wit:
PACIFIC STATES CONSTRUCTION CO.
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the
office of the -r i of id Council. _)
