BE IT RESOLVED that in pursuance to the rovisions of law, and the Charter of the City of San Rofael, it itr hereby ordered and resolved by the City Council of the V City of San Rafael and notice is hereby given that a General Municipal Election be held in said City of San Rafael, on MONDAY, the eighth (8th) day of April, 1935, at which election the offices to be filled and the can- didates for such offices are set forth in the list cer- tified by the City Clerk of said City, of which the i 110,: ` ig is a copy: n z -5�zy I, EUANE '. _ ?'+LITH, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the following is a correct list of the offices to be filled at the deneral Municipal Election to be held in said City on Monday, the 8th day of April, 1935, and the names of the candidates nominated there- for as required by the Charter of the City of San Rafael. At said election the electors voting in said precincts or portions thereof lying outside the City of San Rafael but lying within the San Rafael High School District shall be entitled to vote for Members of the Board of Education only. Said oanersl iiranic:l_nal Plect ion shall be held and 5 conducted under and pursuant to the Charter of the City of San Rafael in all respects therein provided for general municipal electionsand in all other respects according to the laws of the State of California now in force regulating and Providing for am the conduct of municipal elections so far as they may be applicable, and in any respect not therein provided, then according to the General Laws of the State of California now in force. At the said general municipal election, the polls shall be open at six o'clock A.M. on the day of said election and shall be kept open until seven o'clock P.M. of the same day when the polls shall be closed excepting as provided in Section 1164 of the Political Code of the State of California. The ballots to be used at said election, the manner of voting thereat, the duties of election officers, the canvassing of returns and all other particulars in respect to the management of said election shall be in the form and manner and in pursuance with the provisions of the Charter of said City and the laws of the State of California in force at the time of holding said election and applicable thereto.
