RESOLUTION DETERMINING GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM
WAGES IN THE LOCALITY OF SAN RAFAEL.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael
that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 397 of the Statutes
of 1931, State of California, said City Council hereby ascertains,
determines and establishes the general prevailing rate of per diem
wages in this locality for each craft or type of workmen needed
to execute any contract to be awarded for the roofing.,of the San
Rafael Municipal Baths Building and the City Hall in said City
and for any other similar public work or improvement in s
City.
Said minimum rate of per diem wages are as follows,
CLASSIFICATION
Roofer
Kettlemen
Roofer's helper
Roofing laborer
RATE PER HOUR

Any classification omitted heaein not less tha
hour.Overtime-one and one-half times the above
Sundays and Holidays (except watchmen, guards
double the above rates.

RESOLVED FURTHER thaAkll labor upon legal holidays
shall receive double time at the rates above specified
and all other overtime work othet than legal holidays shall
be on the basis of time and one-half calculated upon
said rates above set furth.
RESOLVED FURTHER that if said act above referred to shall
be declared unconstitutional or shall be declared inapplicable
to said work and inTrovement, then this resolution shall
have no force or effect whatever.
