9. Introduction of Members of the Citizens Advisory Committee to the Chief of Police (PD)
Explanation: Police Chief Sanchez to make introductions.

10 Public Hearing - Consider Updating City of San Rafael's Conflict of Interest Code for Designated
Employees, as Required by the Political Reform Act of 1974, California's Conflict of Interest Law for
Public Officials (CC)

11 Public Hearing - Consideration of City -initiated Amendment of Section 14.03.030 of the San Rafael
Municipal Code to Revise Zoning Definitions for "Dwelling Unit" and "Second Dwelling Unit" and to
Add a Definition For "Kitchen" and to Amend Regulations for the Amortization of Dwelling Units
Which Become Non -Conforming on the Effective Date of the Ordinance. Also Proposed is an
Amendment to Section 14.16.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code for Restrictions on "Detached
Accessory Structures" (CD)
Explanation: Planning Commission, at a public hearing on 9/15/98, approved by a vote of
4-0-1-2 (Commissioner O'Brien abstaining, Commissioners Batman & Williams
absent).
