WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that
the widening of 4th Street would be of great benifit to
the property owners thereon; and
WHEREAS, the property thereon is soley comercial; and
WHEREAS; the rents of said property have increased from
approximately $25.00 per month to $125.00 per month for
small stores in the last thirty years; and
MEREAS, the sole benefit of said widening would be to
these property owners,
DE IT RESOLVED; that this Council go on record as being
heartily in favor of said property owners making said
improvementsi and that the City as a whole to pay the
additional cost of paving the additsbnal ateet area,
added by the widening of said street.
