RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING 1': 1,10RANDUTI OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE
OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IKPORTANCE
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be
entered into with the State of California in accordance with a
project statement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the
fiscal year 1937 allocated for Streets of Major Importance other
than State hightmays in the City of San Rafael, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in
full and is familiar with the contents thereof,
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Sari Rafael that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted
as the budget of proposed expenditures of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated
for Streets of Major importance other than State highways, and said
agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk
are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to
be binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized officials
of the State.
ADOPTED this loth day of August, 1937.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed by the City Council of tho C'ty of San Rafael at a Special meeting
