RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC STREET
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, California, and said C �,. Council hereby finds ano determines
that the public street or way �.� .,einafter describ-'z has been for more
than ten (10) years last past -, now is open to and used by the public
generally for vehicular and pedestrian traffic and has thereby been
offered for dedication as a public street and has, by reason of said
continuous use been accepted by the public as such public street;
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by said City Council that
said lane or way hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby
accepted as a public street within the City of San Rafael, to -wit:
that certain parcel of land situate, lying -1-AL; being in they
City ol" San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, having the
unif .__ , width of 21 feet and lying 104.- feet on each side of the follow-
ing described lines
BEGINNING at a point in the center line of Palm Avenue dis-
tant South 420 06' West 45 feet and South 460 171 )est 57.75 feet
from the most northerly corner of the land described as Parcel
3 in the deed from Elinor M. Ti. Sherwood to Elise N. Costigan
dated October 25, 1920 and recorded in Book 221 of Deeds at page
100 thence South 530 309 East 100. 96 feet, thence on the are of
a curve to the right, with a radius of 130 feet, a distance of
96.56 Peet, thence South 100 56' East 4.50 feet thence on the arc
of a curve to the left, with a radius of 350 feet, a distance of
126.9 feet thence South,530 431 Fast 24.03 feet to the point of
intersection of said center line of 8t. Francis Lane with the
easterly line of Lot Nc. 5, as the same is indicated on that cer-
tain nap entitled "Resubdivision of Lots 67 and Portions of Lots
66, 68 and 3.61 Ac. tract of Block 23, Map of Golden Meadow in
Magnilia Park, San Rafael, being a part of Colemans Tract, 1927,"
which said map is filed in the office of the Marin County Recorder
in Licensed surveys, Vol. 2 Page 60.
79 Eugene W. Smith, Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution.- -.as duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular mee-- ting of Council of said City held on
Monday the 7th day of November 1938, the following vote, to -wit:
Ayest Cotincilment Albert, Drown, Grady, Smith and Mayor Nock
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absents Councilmen: None
