DEFINING THE DUTIES AND TERM OF OFFICE OF TSE DEPUTY SUPERINtEN—
DENT, 0,Y' STREETS .
The Deputy Superintendent of Streets, under the direction and
supervision of the City Council, shall:
A. Perform the duties required of him by law and by the ordinances,
and orders of the City Council.
B. Take charge of the streets within the City, and keep them in
good repair.
C. Employ all men, teams and equipment necessary to do all street
work and all necessary field work and surveys connected with
street work, other than that let by contract, under the diree-
tion of the City Council.
D. Meep the streets in the City clear from obstructions, and destroy
at least once a year, all thistles, 11exican cockleburs, and
noxious weeds, growing or being in any portion of such streets
in accordance with Ordinance No.
E. Serve on the Tree Committee. 4,<' �Y
The term of office of the Deputy Superintendent of Streets
shall be for four years, and until his successor is appointed
