LEGAL NOTICE
RESOLUTION No. 824
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO
ESTABLISH A SET -BACK LINE
WHEREAS, the State Highway.
Commission of the State of Califor-
nia, has requested the City of San
Rafael to establish the set -back
line of the Toll Road hereinafter
mentioned and the City Planning
Commission of said City has con-
sidered and approved this proposal:
and pursuant to Section 1 -of Char-
ter Ordinance No. 97, as amended
by Charter Ordinance No. 194 of
said City, said Planning Commission
has requested the City Council to
take proceedings to establish said
set -back line;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RE-
SOLVED arnfpllows:
1. That this City Council do, and
it does hereby decrare its intention .
to determine the minimum distance
back from the street line beyond
which no buildings or 'structures
may be erected in the area herein-
after mentioned, and to order the
establishment of a set -back line as
hereinafter designated, between
which line and the street line no
building or structure shall be erected
or placed.
2. That the proposed set -back line
or lines hereinabove mentioned
shall be as follows: A line parallel
to and distant at right angles sixty I
(60) feet Southerly from the prop-
erty line on the Southerly side of
Francisco Boulevard (formerly Toll
Road) in said City, from the East-
erly boundary of the City of San
Rafael Westerly to the intersection
of said line with the Easterly line of
Irwin Street in said City.
3. That the Council Chambers of
this City Council, in the City Hall
in the City of San Rafael, County
of Marin, State of California, and
the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. upon
the 3rd day of July, 1939, be, and
they are hereby fixed as the time
and place when and where any and
all persons having any objection to
the proposed setrback line or lines
may appear, before sail City Coun-
cil and present any objections which
he or they may have to said pro-
posed set -back line or lines, and
notice is hereby given that at said
time and place said objections will
be heard and said matters deter-
mined;
4. That said City Council shall,
and it does hereby declare its in-
tention, subject to such proofs and
