Council accepted Public Testimony on Intention to Levy an Annual Assessment for the Business
Improvement District.
The title of the ordinance was read:
ORDINANCE TO AMEND MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 10.09 "DOWNTOWN SAN RAFAEL
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT"
Councilmember McCullough moved and Councilmember Bushey seconded to dispense with the reading
of the ordinance in its entirety and refer to it by title only, and pass Charter Ordinance No. 1926 to print by
the following vote, to wit:

Nancy Mackle reported:
• December 1, 2014 - Farewell to Damon Connolly; Accepting applications for the Council
Vacancy through November 18, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., and interviews will be held on
December 15, 2014;
• 35th Annual Parade of Lights and Winter Wonderland and Snow will be held on
November 28-29, 2014;
• Annual Boat Parade will be held on December 1, 2014

Councilmember Colin reported:
• Reported on the GREAT meetings held recently; there will be an online comment form for
those unable to attend the meetings;
• Attended CCAP meeting with Vice -Mayor Connolly - Councilmember Colin to be
appointed chair of CCAP succeeding Councilmember Connolly; Sea -Level rise was also
discussed;
• Attended the Day of the Dead at the Al Boro Community Center on Saturday

• Attended his last CCAP meeting;
• Participated in the Day of the Dead Parade;
• Attended the City Schools Liaison Breakfast last week
