5. City Manager's Report
• Jim Schutz announced that National Night Out would be held on August 4th, 2015, and reported
that the H Street Roadway Improvement Project is largely complete.

6. Councilmember Reports
• Mayor Phillips reported on his attendance at a Marin County Superior Court trial of individuals
misbehaving on San Rafael streets; He met with employees and their representatives to discuss
the Grand Jury Report and the response the City is preparing for COIN - a 30 -day extension has
been requested; He attended a Homelessness Meeting with Marin County participants.
• Councilmember Colin reported on her attendance at the Homelessness Meeting, which
culminated in a very enlightening walk through San Rafael streets; she indicated that a Mobile
Crisis Unit is proposed.
• Mayor Phillips noted that this would be a joint effort between the City and County of Marin.
