City Manager's Report: • City Manager Jim Schutz stated that this week is California's fourth annual electric vehicle week and announced a downtown event on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 12-7pm to test drive electric vehicles. The event will coincide with the Art Walk as well as the San Rafael and Mill Valley Film Festival. He introduced Dean Allison, new Public Works Director. Councilmember Reports: • Councilmember Bushey reported on a recent ABAG meeting 5 • Mayor Phillips • Mayor Phillips reported that he attended the Presentation of the Beacon Award in San Jose with Cristine Alilovich, Assistant City Manager, last week. o He watched a Marin Clean Energy workshop • Councilmember McCullough reported that he attended the Marin Clean Energy board retreat and follow-up subcommittee meeting last week where the future governance of Marin Clean Energy was discussed.
