CALL TO ORDER
MINUTES
1. Due to the ‘field trip’ format of this meeting, action on the approval of regular meeting minutes of
June 25, 2025, will be postponed to the September meeting.
OPEN TIME FOR PUBLIC EXPRESSION
The public is welcome to address the Commission on matters not on the agenda that are within its
jurisdiction. Comments may be no longer than two minutes and should be respectful to the
community.

If necessary to ensure completion of the following items, the Chairperson may establish time limits for
the presentations by individual speakers.
3. Other Agenda Items:
a. Parks Tour: Park and Recreation Commissioners will be guided on an approximately 1-hour
tour of Pickleweed Park. The tour will begin at the Boro Community Center Lobby at 6pm. The
group will walk through Pickleweed Park to see the Enhancement Project improvements.

September meeting.

September meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
Any records relating to an agenda item, received by a majority or more of the Commission less than 72 hours before the meeting,
shall be available for inspection online and in the San Rafael Community Center, 618 B St., San Rafael, CA 94901 placed with other
agenda-related materials on the table in front of the San Rafael Community Center prior to the meeting. Sign Language interpreters

TITLE: TOUR OF PICKLEWEED PARK ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
RECOMMENDATION
Commissioners are encouraged to participate in an optional Parks Tour to receive a
progress update on Pickleweed Park Enhancements and upcoming projects at the Park.
BACKGROUND
The purpose of this optional park tour is to offer Park and Recreation Commissioners an
opportunity to learn more about the Pickleweed Park Enhancement Project and see the
improvements that have been installed now that that project is near completion.
The walking Tour will include an overview of the new park amenities, including the new
field, basketball court, gazebo, recreation equipment, and parking area, as well as
information about other upcoming projects at Pickleweed Park: the Pickleweed Library
renovation project, and the Pickleweed Preschool renovation project.
The tour will begin at the Boro Community Center (50 Canal St) at 6:00pm and is open
to the public to attend.
