OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
TO BE KNOWN AS THE ELECTRICAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL,
CREATING THE OFFICE OF CITY ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR,
PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES, PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF ELECTRICAL PERMITS AND FOR INSPECTIONS AND FIX-
ING THE FEES THEREFOR; REGULATING THE INSTALLATION,

ELECTRICAL CODE PUBLISHED BY THE PACIFIC COAST
ELECTRICAL BUREAU BY REFERENCE
The City Council of the City of San Rafael do ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 175 referred
to in the title hereof, is hereby amended by striking out
the expression "City Electrical Inspector" wherever the same
appears therein, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Chief
Electrical Inspector."
SECTION 2: Section 2 of said Ordinance No. 175 is
hereby amended to read as follows: "All that certain electrical
code entitled 'Uniform Electrical Code2 Published by the Paci-
fic Coast Electrical Bureau, 1939 Edition,''three copies of
which in printed. boob form"have, been filed and are now on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City, marked as having

been filed therein -on the 6 day of 119J& for use
and examination by the public, is hereby adopted as the
Electrical Code of and for the City of San Rafael, to which
reference is hereby made with like effect as if all of the pro-
visions and printed matter therein were herein set forth in
full; except that the words 'a competent electrician' appear-
