I have always been the type of person that believes I should step—up and put out effort to make things better for everyone. My Dad was an attorney based in the Albert Building, downtown San Rafael for many years and taught me to help close to home. Raised in San Rafael, Ihave been interested in helping people since I was a child. My father was a local attorney and a Type I Diabetic and I was born in Sweden and have a congenital heart defect that was closely monitored while growing up. I understand feeling a bit different. I played sports and was involved with my community as a child. From Girl 'Scouts and Bobby Sox Softball to coaching JV Volleyball at SRHS then playing in adult volleyball and softball leagues. I have worked in the medical, dental or legal field since high school. My interests gravitate toward the medical and legal fields, usually a combination of both. For the past seven years I have been working for Dr. Curtis Robinson in Mill Valley, I have learned a tremendous amount about many front and back office aspects of a local medical practice. This past summer I was working regularly at The Marin City Health and Wellness Center where Dr Robinson is the Medical Director. Stepping in to help when staffing shortages due to medical issues occurred. I really enjoyed working at the clinic. Helping I Z�l multi generations of people who truly need help and have been underserved and under respected since WWII while living next to one of the most affluent areas of the United States. I will take personal responsibility while keeping a sense of the success of this commission. I will be as resourceful as possible while maintaining efficiency and helping the City achieve their goals. I am a multitasker and a great resourcer. I like to think outside of the box. I have an even tempered relationship with co-workers, customers and vendors. They like my calming demeanor and feel reassured when talking to me. I want to help people have as good of an experience thru life as possible. Life is very short and worth the extra effort to do the right thing. It is also worth it for me to exert extra effort for my community to succeed. A driving force within me is to help preserve people's rights and to help them be happy.
