A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO MODIFY THE CURRENT
TIDELANDS PERMIT FEE TO BASE IT DIRECTLY ON STAFF TIME NECESSARY
TO ADMINISTER EACH PERMIT.
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of August, 2011, the City Council adopted Resolution 13218
adopting the latest Master Fee Schedule for the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend said resolution specifically to revise the
Tideland Permit fee designated as No. 11.08.20 of the Master Fee Schedule, which is currently
calculated at the rate of $1.25 per cubic yard of material removed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a Tidelands Permit fee calculated on the basis of
the fully burdened hourly rate (FBIIR) for actual staff time required to administer the permit
would provide a better measure of the City's costs in administering the permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael
that Master Fee Schedule adopted by Resolution No. 13218 is amended to modify the Tideland
Permit Fee, designated as No. 11.08.20, to modify the Charge to read as follows:
Charge
$500 Initial Deposit; Actual Staff Time billed at FBHR.

foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 16`h day of April, 2012 by the following vote, to wit:
