TO
EMIL BETTINI
WHEREAS, Emil Bettini has served as a volunteer with the City of San
Rafael since 1987 and has donated more than ten thousand hours of
service to the San Rafael Police Department, and
WHEREAS, Emil has freely given those hours of his time to assist the
Police Department in its mission; and
WHEREAS, Emil has provided invaluable assistance to all divisions of
the Police Department over the past twenty years as the Volunteer
Coordinator for the Police Department, taking on numerous tasks,
including recruiting, assigning and scheduling the department's
volunteers and the many and various programs staffed by citizen
volunteers including the RUOK? Program, delivery of court documents,
subpoena services, vacation home checks, Camp' Chance,
Neighborhood Watch, the traffic decoy program and distributing
informational materials to the public; and
WHEREAS, Emil has always performed his duties with enthusiasm. Emil
is always friendly and a pleasure to work with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of San
Rafael hereby extend their appreciation and thanks to Emil Bettini for his
twenty years of outstanding and dedicated service to the City of San
Rafael as a Police Volunteer.
