Zoning Ordinance amendments to: a) establish permit provisions and performance
dwelling unit and the fire inspection provisions for large family day care homes for
children; City of San Rafael, project proponent; File No(s).: ZO15-001
BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 1937 is attached for a second reading. Also attached is City Council Resolution 14054,
which addresses the two year monitoring of junior second unit activity directed by the City Council.
This resolution has been revised based on City Council action on January 4, 2016. No action is
necessary on this resolution. It is being presented with Ordinance 1937 for information only.
