Charter Ordinance No. 1681 entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5 OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE TO
AMEND CHAPTER 5.40 -- STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING; TO ADD SECTION
5.40.140 -- PARKING, COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND SEMITRAILERS; AND TO
REPEAL SECTION 5.40.200"
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and was introduced at a
REGULAR meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael, held on the 19th day
of JUNE, 1995, published as required by City Charter in the MARIN INDEPENDENT JOURNAL.
a newspaper published in the City of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance
of said City at a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 17th
day of JULY, 1995, by the following vote, to wit:

ORDINANCE NO. 1681
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5 OF THE SAN
RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND CHAPTER 5.40
-- STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING; TO ADD
SECTION 5.40.140 -- PARKING, COMMERCIAL
VEHICLES AND SEMITRAILERS; AND TO REPEAL
SECTION 5.40.200
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1:
Section 5.40.140 is hereby repealed, and a new section
5.40.140 is hereby added to the San Rafael Municipal Code to read
as follows:
5.40.140. Parkins, Commercial Vehicles and Trailers.
No person shall park any commercial vehicle of more than
10,000 lbs. unladen gross weight, any trailer, semitrailer, trailer
coach, utility trailer or auxiliary dolly, (as these vehicles are
defined in the Vehicle Code) for more than one hour upon any City
street or portion thereof. Commercial vehicles, trailers, semi-
trailers, trailer coaches, utility trailers or auxiliary dollies in
the process of loading or unloading, or necessary for the
performance of a service to an adjacent property, shall be parked
on the public street no longer than the time necessary, in excess
of one hour, to complete the loading, unloading, or service.
DIVISION 2:
Section 5.40.200 is hereby repealed.
DIVISION 3:
This Ordinance shall be published once in full before its
final passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and
circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in full force
and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
held on the 19th day of JUNE , 1995, and ordered
passed to print by the following vote, to wit:

and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San
