the foregoing Charter Ordinance NO. 1586 entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING SECTION
5.40.120 OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD SECTION
5.40.120(c) AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF VEHICLES LEFT PARKED
OR STANDING IN VIOLATION OF SECTION 5.40.120"
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and was
introduced at a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, held on the Second day of April
19 90 , published as required by City Charter in the
Marin Independent Journal a newspaper published
in the City of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance
of said City at a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the Sixteenth day of April , 19 90 ,
by the following vote, to wit:

ORDINANCE NO. 1586
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AMENDING SECTION 5.40.120 OF
THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE TO
ADD SECTION 5.40.120(c) AUTHORIZING
THE REMOVAL OF VEHICLES LEFT PARKED
OR STANDING IN VIOLATION OF SECTION
5.40.120
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. Section 5.40.120(c) authorizing the removal
of vehicles left parked or standing in violation of this section is
added to the San Rafael Municipal Code to read as follows:
Section 5.40.120(c) The Chief of Police shall have the
power and authority to remove any vehicle that is parked or stand-
ing in violation of this section. Notice of intent to remove a
vehicle in violation of this section must be included in the tem-
porarily erected or posted signs as authorized under subsection (b)
above.
DIVISION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
full before its final passage in a newspaper of general circula-
tion, published and circulated in the City of San Rafael,
and shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its
final passage.

The above and foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1586 was
read and introduced at a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of
the City of San Rafael held on the 2ND day of APRIL
1990 , and ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Shippey, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San
Rafael at a REGULAR meeting of the Council to be held on the
16TH day of APRIL , 1990 .
