JEA �ELEONC'�IN,erk ORDINANCE NO. 1489 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING CHAPTER 2.04 OF THE SP_N RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE TIME OF CLOSED SESSIONS OF THE CITY COUNCIL WHICH ARE PART OF REGULAR _-MMEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Title 2, of Chapter 04, Article 010 of the San Rafael Municipal Code is amended to read: SECTION 2.04.010: Regular Meetings The regular meetings of the Council of the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, shall be held on the first and third Mondav of each month at the regular place of meeting specified in this section. The regular meetings may be adjourned from time to time as may be determined by the Council for the purpose of completing the business and duties of the Council. The meetings shall convene on the first and third Monday of each month. The closed sessions of the meetings shall commence at the hour of 7:00 p.m. and, at the end of the closed session, the Council shall adjourn to reconvene at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in open session. Regular meetings may be adjourned to any other date and time. All meetings of the Council shall be held at the City Hall situated on the northerly side of Fifth Avenue between C Street and E Street, and the meetings shall be held in the General Assembly Room in the building set apart for the meetings of the Council. SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be published once in full before its final passage, in the Independent Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in full force and effect 30 days after its final passage.
