This ordinance is an Urgency Ordinance for the needed preservation of the public peace, health, or safety within the meaning of Government Code Section 25123 and shall go into effect immediately. Because the San Rafael Municipal Code is printed by a professional publisheing company out of state, revisions to the Code are made only periodically. Recent notification form the publisher and inspection by City staff has revealed certain clerical errors present in the designation of zoning districts in ORDINANCE NO. 1407 Section 14.15.010 of the Zoning Code of the San Rafael Municipal Code. In order to clarify and provide an accurate and up-to-date list of all zoning classifications for the City of San Rafael, it is necessary that the Council adopt this measure as an Urgency Ordinance so that these correct zoning designations may be conveyed to the publishing company for its next periodic revision. It is imperative that the San Rafael Municipal Code be correct and up-to-date and provide an accurate accounting of the laws and ordinances as passed by the San Rafael City Council. DIVISION 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The Council hereby declares that it would have adopted the Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, or phrases be declared invalid.
