Ex -officio Clerk of the Council of said City, do hereby certify that
the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1433 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING ORDINANCE 1336 (PARAMEDIC
SERVICE SPECIAL TAX) SO AS TO INCREASE THE BASIC TAX RATE FROM $12.00 TO
$19.00 PER LIVING UNIT
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and was
introduced at a revular
meeting of the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, held on the sixth day of
Julv 1982, published as required by City Charter in the
Independent -Journal a newspaper published in the City
of San Rafael and passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at
a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the nineteenth day of July , 1982, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None

ORDINANCE NO. 1433
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING ORDINANCE 1336 (PARAMEDIC SERVICE SPECIAL TAX)
SO AS TO INCREASE THE BASIC TAX RATE
FROM $12.00 TO $19.00 PER LIVING UNIT
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. Pursuant to Chapter 3.28, Section 3.28.060 (a)
the Council of the City of San Rafael does hereby increase the basic
tax rate for paramedic service from $12.00 to $19.00 per living unit,
as defined in Section 3.28.030 (6), on an annual basis.
DIVISION 2. The Council hereby determines that the basic
tax rate shall be revised and increased in that, based upon a budget
recommended by the City Manager, the basic tax rate must be revised
to reflect increases in charges and costs of providing the paramedic
service to San Rafael residents.
DIVISION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in
full force and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

The foregoing Ordinance No.1433 was read and introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
held on the 6th day of Julv , 1982, and ordered passed to print
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San Rafael
at a regular meeting of the Council to be held on the 19th
day of July , 1982.
