Rafael, and Ex -officio Clerk of the Council of said City, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Charter Ordinance No. 1379
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY
SECTION 14.15.020 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO RECLASSIFY
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT
AND P -C (PLANNED COMMUNITY) DISTRICT TO U (UNCLASSIFIED) DISTRICT
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City and
was introduced at a revula meeting of the City
Council of the City of. San Rafael, held on the sixth
day of October , 1980, published as required by City
Charter in the Independent -Journal , a newspaper
printed and published in the City of San Rafael and passed
and adopted as an ordinance of said City at a regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on the twentieth
day of October , 1980, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTED BY
REFERENCE BY SECTION 14 .15 .0 20 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO RECLASSIFY
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM R-1
(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT
AND P -C (PLANNED COMMUNITY) DISTRICT
TO U (UNCLASSIFIED) DISTRICT
(Rezonings to Implement Neighborhood 13/14 Plan)
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. The Zoning Map of the City of San Rafael,
California, adopted by reference by Section 14.15.020 of the Muni-
cipal Code is amended by reclassifying the following described
property from R-1 (Single Family Residential) District and P -C
(Planned Community) District to U (Unclassified) District. Said
property so reclassified from R-1 to U District is located on:
Sun Valley Slope East, County Assessor's Parcels
10-011-18 and 10-041-42;
Sun Valley Slope Middle, County Assessor's Parcels
10-011-28 and 35; 10-052-40;
Sun Valley Slope Middle, County Assessor's Parcel
10-011-06;
Sun Valley Slope West, County Assessor's Parcels
10-011-07 and 46;
The quarry, County Assessor's Parcels 10-142-24 and
11-051-23;
El Cerrito, County Assessor's Parcel 11-121-06.
Said property so reclassified from P -C to U is located on:
Grove Hill, County Assessor's Parcels 10-221-19,
24 and 25; 10-232-25, 34 and 36.

DIVISION 2. The zoning reclassification provided herein
shall serve as interim zoning until such time as the HRPD (Hillside
Residential Planned Development) zoning classification is adopted
and replaces the "U" classification. For the duration of the "U"
classification the subject properties shall conform to those
development guidelines provided in the Neighborhood 13 and 14 Plan.
DIVISION 3. Upon the effective date of this Ordinance
and Ordinance number 1380 , the moratorium on development in Neigh-
borhood 13 and 14 shall terminate.
DIVISION 4. This Ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published, and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in
full force and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

The foregoing Ordinance No. 1379 was read and intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, held on the 6th day of October , 1980, and
ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Miskimen, Nixon & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Jensen
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San
Rafael at a regular meeting of the Council to be held on the
20th day of October , 1980.
