City do hereby certify that the foregoing Charter
Ordinance No. 1318 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING TITLE 2 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 2.08, ENTITLED "OFFICERS" BY
DELETING THEREFROM SECTION 2.08.155 AND AMENDING SECTION 2.08.160
"SALARY OF CITY ATTORNEY"
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City,
and was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of San Rafael, held on the 20th
day of November 19 78 . Published as re-
quired by City Charter in the Independent -Journal ,
a newspaper printed and published in the City of San Rafael
and passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at a
regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 4th day of December 19 78 by the
following vote, to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen: Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
Noes: Councilmen: Jensen and Miskimen
Absent: Councilmen: None

ORDINANCE NO. 1318
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
TITLE 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER
2.08, ENTITLED "OFFICERS" BY DELETING THEREFROM
SECTION 2.08.155 AND AMENDING SECTION 2.08.160
"SALARY OF CITY ATTORNEY"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS
DIVISION 1. Section 2.08.155 is deleted.
DIVISION 2. Section 2.08.160 of Chapter 2.08 entitled
"Officers" of the San Rafael Municipal Code, entitled "Salary of
City Attorney" is hereby amended and shall read as follows:
2.08.160 Salary of City Attorney. The City Attorney shall
receive as compensation for the services performed by him, the sum
of $800.00 per month, commencing on March 13, 1979.
DIVISION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage, in a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and
shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its
passage.

The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 1318 was read and intro -
ducted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, held on the 20th day of November 1978, and ordered
passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
and will come up for adoption as an ordinance of the City of San Rafael
at a regular meeting of the Council to be held on the 4th day of
December 1978.
