Ordinance of the City of San Rafael Amending Title
5, Traffic Regulations, Chapter 5.60 Parking Meters,
by Adding Areas of Parking to Sections 5.60.010(b);
5.60.068(a); 5.60.068(b); 5.60.070(a) and 5.60.070(b).
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City, and
was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of San Rafael, held on,the 17th
day of January 19 77 Published as re-
quired by City Charter in the Independent Journal ,
a newspaper printed and published in the City of San Rafael and
passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at a
regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
7th day of February 19 77 by the following
vote, to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent: Councilman: None

ORDINANCE NO. 1250
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
TITLE 5, TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, CHAPTER 5.60 PARKING
METERS, BY ADDING AREAS OF PARKING TO SECTIONS
5.60.010(b); 5.60.068(a); 5.60.068(b); 5 .60.070 (a)
AND 5.60.070(b).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1 . Title 5, Chapter 5.60 , Section 5.60.010(b), is hereby
further amended by adding between "...and Lootens Place." and "Notwithstanding
any... " the following:
"Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of Third Street, 110 feet Westerly
from the point of intersection of said Northerly line with the Westerly line of Cijos
Street; thence Westerly along said Northerly line, 88.50 feet; thence Northerly
and parallel with the Westerly line of Cijos Street, 115 feet; thence Easterly and
parallel with the Northerly line of Third Street, 88.50 feet; thence Southerly and
parallel with the Westerly line of Cijos Street, 115 feet to the point of beginning,
hereinafter referenced as the 'Third Street Parking Lot opposite Lindaro Street' . "
D I V I S I ON 2. Title 5, Chapter 5.60, Section 5. 60.068 (a) , is hereby
further amended by inserting between " ... 21, 22 and 23, " and "are fixed at. . . " the
following:
"and that portion of the Third Street Parking Lot opposite Lindaro Street,
more specifically meters numbered 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, "
D I V I S 10 N 3 . Title 5, Chapter 5. 60, Section 5. 60.0 68 (b), is hereby
amended by inserting between "...opposite Lootens Place" and "shall be adjusted..."
the following:
", and those parking meters as specifically set forth in subsection (a) on
that portion of the Third Street Parking Lot opposite Lindaro Street"
D I V I S 10 N 4 . Title 5, Chapter 5.60 , Section 5. 60. 0 70 (a) , is hereby
amended by inserting between "...28, 29 and 30" and "are fixed at... " the following:
" , and that portion of the Third Street Parking Lot opposite Lindaro Street,
more specifically meters numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23,
24, 25, 26, 27 and 28,"
DIVISION 5 . Title 5, Chapter 5.60, Section 5 .60.070 (b) is hereby
amended by inserting between "...Place and Third Street" and "shall be so..." the
following:
"those parking meters as specified in subsection (a) on that portion of the
Third Street Parking Lot opposite Lindaro Street"

DIVISION 6 . This Ordinance shall be published once in full before
its final passage, in Independent Journal , a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in full force
and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.

The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 1250 was read and introduced at
a requl ar meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael, held on the
17th day of January , 1977, and was ordered passed to print by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San Rafael at a meeting
of the Council to be held on the 7th day of February , 1977.
