GRADY, City Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 1264 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.18.043, HEARING BY COMMISSION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: DIVISION 1. Chapter 2.18, Historic Preservation, Section 2.18.043(a) of the Municipal Code of the City of San Rafael is hereby amended and shall read in its entirety as follows: 2.18.043(a) - Notice of Hearing. Notice of the time, place and purpose of such hearing shall be given by at least one publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City not less than 15 days prior to the date of hearing. Notice shall also be mailed not less than 10 days prior to the date of hearing to the owners of all property included in the proposed designation, to owners of immediately adjacent properties and to homeowner associations within the neighborhood. In addition, notice shall be posted in at least three locations within 200 feet of the affected property, using for this purpose the names and addresses of the last known owners as shown on the records of the Assessor. DIVISION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in full before its final passage in a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.
