ORDINANCE NO. 1229
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING
SECTIONS 3.12.010, CREATION OF FUND, AND 3.12.030,
EXPENDITURE OF FUND, OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. San Rafael Municipal Code Section 3.12.010 is
hereby amended and shall read as follows:
3.12.010 Creation of Fund. To comply with the provisions
of Division 1, Chapter 1, Article 5 and Division 3, Chapter 3 of the
California Streets and Highways Code, there is hereby created in the
City Treasury a special fund to be known as the "SPECIAL GAS TAX
STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND".
DIVISION 2. San Rafael Municipal Code Section 3.12.030 is
hereby amended and shall read as follows:
3.12.030 Expenditure of Fund. All monies in said fund
shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and
subject to the provisions of, Division 1, Chapter 1, Article 5 and
Division 3, Chapter 3 of the California Streets and Highways Code.
DIVISION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in the Independent Journal , a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published, and circulated in the City
of San Rafael, and shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days
after its final passage.

The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 1229 was read and
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, held on the 6th day of July , 1976, and
ordered passed to print by the following vote, to -wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San Rafael
