hereby certify that the foregoing Charter Ordinance Mo. 1238
entitled:
An Ordinance amending the zoning map of the City of
San Rafael, California, adopted by reference by Sec-
tion 14.15.020 of the Municipal Code of San Rafael,
California, so as to reclassify certain real prop-
erty from R -1-B-1 (Single Family Residential, Mini -
num Building Site Area 7,500 Square Feet), District
to A -P (Administrative -Professional) District.
is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of said City, and
was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of San Rafael, held on,the 7th
day of September 19 76 Published as re-
quired by City Charter in the Independent Journal
a newspaper printed and published in the City of Sane Rafael and
passed and adopted as an ordinance of said City at a
regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
20th day of September 19 76 by the following
vote, to -wit:

ORDINANCE NO. 1238
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTED BY REFERENCE BY SECTION 14.15.020 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA, SO AS TO RECLASSIFY
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM R -1-B-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL,
MINIMUM BUILDING SITE AREA 7,500 SQUARE FEET), DISTRICT TO
A -P (ADMINISTRATIVE -PROFESSIONAL) DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. The Zoning Map of the City of San Rafael,
California, adopted by reference by Section 14.15.020 of the
Municipal Code is amended by reclassifying the following described
real property from R -1-B-1 (Single Family Residential, Minimum
Building Site Area, 7,500 Square Feet) District to A -P (Administrative -
Professional) District. Said property so reclassified is located at
515 Northgate Drive and 355 Los Ranchitos Road, San Rafael, California,
and shown as a portion of County Assessor's Parcelsl75-060-15 and 33,
which is more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the Northerly line of
the parcel conveyed by Manuel T. Freitas, et al.,
to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church by Deed re-
corded July 26, 1957 in Liber 1130 of Official
Records at Page 515; said point being distant
thereon North 740 15' East, 234.05 feet from the
Northwesterly corner of said parcel; thence,
South 150 45' East, 192.787 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence, South 15° 45' East,
26.213 feet; thence, North 740 15' East, 304.0
feet, more or less, to the Westerly line of
Los Ranchitos Road; thence along said Westerly
line, North 150 45' West, 26.213 feet; thence,
leaving said Westerly line of Los Ranchitos
Road South 740 15' West, 304.0 feet, more or
less, to the True Point of Beginning, containing
0.18 acres, more or less.
DIVISION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in full
before its final passage in the Independent Journal , a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
City of San Rafael, and shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days after its final passage.

The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 1238 was read
and introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of San Rafael held on Tuesday , the 7thday of September , 1976,
and ordered passed to print by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon and Acting Mayor
Mul ryan
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Mayor Bettini
and will come up for adoption as an Ordinance of the City of San Rafael
at a Regular meeting of the Council to be held on the 20th day of
September , 1976.
