ORDINANCE NO. 1239
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AMENDING SECTION 5.44.020 -
"CURB MARKINGS TO INDICATE NO STOPPING AND PARKING REGULATIONS"
OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SUBSECTION (5) THERETO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
DIVISION 1. Section 5.44.020, "Curb Markings To Indicate
No Stopping And Parking Regulations" of the San Rafael Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding Subsection (5) thereto, which
shall read as follows:
5.44.020 (5) "Blue" means parking limited at all times
exclusively to the vehicles of physically handicapped persons.
For the purposes of this section, "physically handicapped persons"
will be those as defined in California Vehicle Code Section 22511.7.
DIVISION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in
full before its final passage in the Independent Journal , a news-
paper of general circulation, printed, published, and circulated
in the City of San Rafael, and shall be in full force and effect
thirty (30) days after its final passage.
