Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
San Rafael City Council Albert J. Boro, Councilmember
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Joan Thayer, Councilmember
Absent: None
Also Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager;
Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
Sharan McNamee, Recreation Director
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS TO FILL ONE VACANCY ON THE PARK AND RECREATION
COMMISSION - File 9-2-4
At meeting of April 17, 1989, Council authorized City Clerk to call for
applications to fill one vacancy on the Park and Recreation Commission
due to the resignation of Chairman Anthony Arnold.
Five applicants were interviewed: Lynn Finkelstein, Michael Koppel,
Carlene McCart, Bruce Raful and Andrew Ragnes.
After discussion, Councilmember Breiner moved and Councilmember Thayer
seconded, to appoint Bruce Raful, to fill the unexpired term, ending
May, 1990.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Frugoli, Thayer & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
