Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Albert J. Boro, Councilmember
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Absent: Joan Thayer, Councilmember
Also Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager;

1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS TO FILL VACANCY ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION
(CC) - File 9-2-6
At meeting of June 6, 1988, City Council directed City Clerk to call
for applications to fill vacancy on the Planning Commission to the
end of June, 1992, due to the expiration of the term of Commissioner
Joyce Rifkind as of the end of June, 1988.
Two applications were received by deadline of Tuesday, June 28, 1988
at 12:00 Noon.
Council interviewed two applicants, Mr. Jon Baker and Mrs. Joyce Rifkind,
who applied for reappointment.
Councilmember Breiner moved and Councilmember Frugoli seconded, to
reappoint Mrs. Joyce Rifkind to the Planning Commission to serve four
years to the end of June, 1992.
Councilmember Thayer, who was not present at the meeting, gave her
proxy vote in favor of Mrs. Rifkind to Councilmember Breiner.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner, Frugoli & Mayor Mulryan

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Thayer
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
