Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Albert J. Boro, Councilmember
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Joan Thayer, Councilmember
Absent: None
Also Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager;
Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS TO FILL VACANCY ON THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
(ARCHITECT) (CC) - File 9-2-39
At meeting of June 20, 1988, City Council directed City Clerk to call
for applications to fill the unexpired term of John W. Powers on the
Design Review Board, as he no longer lives within the City limits
of San Rafael.
Two applications were received by deadline of Tuesday, July 12, 1988
at 12:00 Noon.
Council interviewed the two applicants, Mr. Digne B. de Lenea and
Mr. William P. Martin.
Councilmember Frugoli moved and Mayor Mulryan seconded, to appoint
Mr. William P. Martin to the Design Review Board to serve the unexpired
term to the end of June, 1989.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Frugoli & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner & Thayer
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
Motion failed.
Councilmember Breiner moved and Councilmember Boro seconded, to appoint
Mr. Digne B. de Lenea to the Design Review Board to serve the unexpired
term to the end of June, 1989.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Boro, Breiner and Thayer
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Frugoli and Mayor Mulryan
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
