In Conference Room 201 of the San Rafael City Hall, Monday, June 16,
1986, at 6:30 PM.
Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Richard Nave, Councilmember
Jerry Russom, Councilmember
Absent: Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Also Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager; Jeanne M. Leoncini,
City Clerk; Sharon McNamee, Recreation Director
INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS TO FILL THREE (3) VACANCIES ON THE PARK AND
RECREATION COMMISSION (CC) - File 9-2-4
Council interviewed the following applicants, including incumbents, to
fill three (3) vacancies on the Park and Recreation Commission; terms
to expire the end of May, 1990:
Mr. Dale Bartley
Ms. Pamela Francisco
Ms. Martha Kearns
Mr. Ralph G. Mihan
Council noted the letter from Chairman Steven F. Arago indicating he
would be unable to attend the interview due to a business committment,
but that he was interested in being reappointed.
After discussion, Councilmember Nave moved and Councilmember Breiner
seconded, to reappoint all three incumbents, Steven F. Arago, Martha
Kearns and Ralph G. Mihan for four year terms; terms to expire the end
of May, 1990.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Frugoli
Council requested staff to keep the names of the other applicants on
file for future consideration should a vacancy occur, as it was felt
that all of the applicants were well qualified.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
