Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember

Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Richard Nave, Councilmember
Jerry Russom, Councilmember
Absent: None
Others Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager
Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS: (CC)
a. DESIGN REVIEW BOARD (LICENSED ARCHITECT OR LICENSED BUILDING
DESIGNER) - ONE VACANCY - File 9-2-39 x (S -RRA) 'R-140 IVa.
Council interviewed the following three applicants:
Mr. Howard F. Itzkowitz
Ms. Hedda Lampenfeld
Mr. Thomas E. Lollini
After discussion, Councilmember Russom moved and Councilmember Breiner
seconded, to appoint Thomas E. Lollini to fill the 4 -year term on the
Design Review Board; term to expire as of the end of June, 1990, with
Mr. Lollini to be asked to resign as a member of the Redevelopment
Citizens Advisory Committee.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
Council requested City Clerk Leoncini to keep Mr. Itzkowitz's name on
file to be contacted in the future should another vacancy occur.

b. PLANNING COMMISSION - TWO VACANCIES - File 9-2-6
Council interviewed the following four applicants:
Mr. Dale Bartley
Ms. Pamela Francisco
Mr. Michael J. Smith
Mr. Maynard H. Willms
After discussion, Councilmember Russom moved and Councilmember Breiner
seconded, to reappoint Michael J. Smith and Maynard H. Willms to serve
4 -year terms on the Planning Commission; terms to expire the end of June,
1990.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, special meeting was adjourned.
