In the Conference Room 201 of the City Hall of San Rafael on Monday,
November 4, 1985 at 6:45 PM.
Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Richard Nave, Councilmember
Jerry Russom, Councilmember
Absent: None
Others Present: Ted A. Gaebler, City Manager; Jeanne M. Leoncini, City
Clerk
1. INTERVIEW OF APPLICANT TO FILL VACANCY ON BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES
(CC) - File 9-2-3
Council interviewed one applicant, George Walton, for appointment to
the Board of Library Trustees.
Council unanimously approved appointment of Mr. Walton to fill the
unexpired term to the end of April 1987.
2. INTERVIEW OF APPLICANTS TO FILL TWO POSITIONS ON BOARD OF REVIEW
(PERSONNEL) (CC) - File 9-2-12
Council interviewed the two incumbents, Armon Barsamian and Fred
Enemark.
Council unanimously reappointed both incumbents and a coin was tossed
to decide which incumbent would serve a 4 -year term and which one would
serve a 6 -year term in order to stagger the terms of the 3 -member
board.
Mr. Barsamian was reappointed to the 6 -year term to the end of October,
1991, and Mr. Enemark was reappointed to the 4 -year term to the end of
October, 1989.
3. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO FILL ONE VACANCY ON DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
(LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT) (CC) - File 9-2-39
No applications were received by deadline to fill vacancy caused by the
resignation of Fred Furu-ichi, Landscape Architect.
After discussion, Council unanimously approved:
a) Calling for applications again, with deadline for receipt of
applications set for 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, November 26, 1985 in the
City Clerk's Office to fill unexpired term to end of June 1989;
b) Setting date for interviews at special meeting to be held on
Monday, December 2, 1985 at 6:45 PM in Conference Room 201;
c) Only San Rafael residents may apply.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned.
