Special Meeting: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Richard Nave, Councilmember
Absent: None
Also Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager; Jeanne M. Leoncini,
City Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS FOR APPOINTMENT TO FILL VACANCY ON THE CITY
COUNCIL - File 9-1
Council interviewed the following seven candidates to fill the unexpired
term of Councilmember Russom, who passed away on February 2, 1987,
until the San Rafael General Municipal Election is held on Tuesday,
November 3, 1987, and the person who is elected to the Council at
that time has qualified:
Doris Law Bagley
Elliot Bien
Gregory Brockbank
Rick Norman
Richard O'Brien
Dr. Sushma Deva Taylor
Maynard Willms
After discussion, Councilmember Frugoli moved and Councilmember Nave
seconded, to appoint Maynard Willms to fill the vacancy on the City
Council.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
