San Rafael City Council: Present: Lawrence E. Mulryan, Mayor
Dorothy L. Breiner, Councilmember
Richard Nave, Councilmember
Maynard Willms, Councilmember
Absent: Gary R. Frugoli, Councilmember
Also Present: Pamela J. Nicolai, City Manager; Jeanne M. Leoncini, City
Clerk
1. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS TO FILL VACANCY ON THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
(CC) - File 9-2-39
The Council interviewed the following applicants to fill a vacancy
on the Design Review Board for a four-year term to expire the end
of June, 1991. Member George Juilly decided not to file for reappoint-
ment after having served nine years.
1. Peder Pedersen, Landscape Architect
2. Hedda Lampenfeld, Architect
3. Howard Frank Itzkowitz, Architect
After discussion, Councilmember Nave moved and Councilmember Breiner
seconded, to appoint Peder Pedersen, Landscape Architect, to fill
the unexpired term to the end of June, 1991.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Nave, Willms & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Frugoli
Council concurred with Mayor Mulryan's suggestion that Mr. Howard
Frank Itzkowitz be contacted to apply in the future should another
vacancy occur on the Design Review Board.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
