CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
BILL TUIKHA
WHEREAS, Bill Tuikka began working for the City of San Rafael in
October of 1987 as Assistant Planner and was promoted to
Associate Planner in December of 1989; and
WHEREAS, Bill is consistently attentive, patient, and forthcoming in his
dealings with the public, even during hours when the service
to the public is limited or it is not his turn to take phone calls
and staff the public counter, and
WHEREAS, Bill's caring attitude is not only for the public, but also for
his fellow employees. He is a team player who willingly
assists other employees. It is obvious that he values a
teamwork approach; and
WHEREAS, Bill is dedicated to the community, frequently volunteering
to help with community projects that occur during evening
and weekend hours, even though he lives out of the area; and
WHEREAS, Bill's quick sense of humor, which helps keep things light, is
much appreciated and enjoyed by his co-workers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council hereby
designate BILL TUIKKA as Employee of the Quarter for the period ending
December 31, 1997 and express sincere appreciation to Bill for his dedication and
outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
