A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000 FROM THE GAS TAX
FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALK ALONG MEDWAY
ROAD, FROM EAST FRANCISCO BOULEVARD TO FRONT STREET.
(to Whiteside Construction, lowest responsible informal bidder)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael wishes to
construct sidewalk to improve pedestrian access along Medway Road in the vicinity of the
transit stop between East Francisco Boulevard and Front Street; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department obtained three (3) informal bids, as
required by Section 11.50.170 of the San Rafael Municipal Code (SRMC); and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available in the Gas Tax Account to
fund this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael Authorizes an amount not to exceed $10,000 from the Gas Tax Fund Account for the
construction of sidewalk along Medway Road, from East Francisco Boulevard to Front Street.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 7"' day of October, 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
