A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
REJECTING THE BID OF ISI, INC. AND
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO REBID A CAB AND CHASSIS
FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT'S
HAZARDOUS SPILL PROGRAM
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for a
new 1996 cab and chassis for the Fire Department's Hazardous Spill
Program; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened for said cab and
chassis on January 3, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the bid of ISI, Inc. of San Rafael was the only bid
received, and as such, precludes any comparison with other bids
received; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.55.160, of the San Rafael City Municipal
Code provides that the City may reject any and all bids when such
action is considered to be in the best interest of the City and
whereas the Council finds that it is in the best interest of the
City to reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that all bids received for a new 1996 cab and chassis for Fire
Department's Hazardous Spill Program are hereby rejected, and that
staff is authorized to rebid for the purchase of a cab and chassis
for the Fire Department.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on, TUESDAY , the 16th of JANUARY
1996, by the following vote, to wit:
